The suspected crimes are said to have occurred in Skåne County in 2023. That same year, an investigation into sexual crimes against children was opened and later closed. In 2024, it was reopened after a new report was received, and, after almost three years of investigation, a woman was arrested.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was arrested earlier in March on suspicion of child rape and sexual assault of a child.
She has previously received a criminal order for sexual abuse of children after sending sexually explicit messages to a boy.
The woman's lawyer tells TV4 News that she denies the allegations.
