The police were called to the scene in Gottsunda, in the Valsätra area, on Friday evening, where an injured woman in her 60s was found.
She was taken by ambulance to hospital with unknown injuries.
A woman, also in her 60s, was arrested. She is suspected of having injured the other woman with a cleaver, the police wrote on their website.
