A woman was caught during the Midsummer weekend at Musköbasen when she paddled with a kayak near the military facility. The woman also photographed the underground mountain facility, which is classified as a protected object, reports TV4 News.
The base's security guards alerted the police and the woman was arrested. She is suspected of two crimes – unauthorized access to a protected object and depiction of a protected object.
It is unclear whether it is a mistake or if there was a purpose with the woman's actions. The Security Service is informed.
In the morning, I will decide whether the woman should be requested to be detained or not, says prosecutor Julia Tibäck to TV4 News on Monday.
Musköbasen is located in the southern archipelago of Stockholm in Haninge municipality.
