A wolf that attacked sheep has been shot in a field between Medåker and Köping.
The attack took place on Wednesday and seven sheep were killed or put down as a result of their injuries, according to SVT Västmanland.
In connection with the attack, the wolf was shot dead in accordance with the hunting regulations. The County Administrative Board has been on site to document the event.
Also on Sunday, a wolf attack occurred, but then in a field outside Katrineholm. Sheep and cattle were attacked and the wolf was killed.
