The County Administrative Board assesses that the decision to shoot the wolf was in accordance with the hunting ordinance, which provides the opportunity to release a hunting dog.
"The wolf pursued the dog and was shot by a hunter after attempts were made to scare the wolf," says game warden Tom Espgård in a press release from the Skåne County Administrative Board.
