In one attack near Lammhult earlier this week, seven sheep were killed, according to P4 Kronoberg, which refers to the Kronoberg County Administrative Board. DNA from the scene will be compared with that from a previous sheep attack that took place a few weeks ago, to see if the same wolf is behind it.
In Vaggeryd in Jönköping County, just a few kilometres away, one sheep was killed and another injured by a wolf on Monday evening.
Pet owners are urged to keep an extra eye on their animals and check their fences over the next few days.
