It was at 11:30 on Saturday morning that the police responded with a large number of resources after an alarm about an assault in the village of Harmånger.
At the same time, Pher Andersson's Harmångers IF were playing a football match just around 100 meters away.
We were on site to play a league match and then we saw an ambulance arrive. After that, we heard a scream, a real panic scream, and someone shouting for help, he says.
One of the club's female players then ran forward and started CPR, says Pher Andersson.
We thought it was a normal illness that had occurred.
After that, another ambulance and several police cars arrived.
A helicopter also arrived, landing on our football field, with heavily armed police. Then we began to understand that it was something serious, and it felt very uncomfortable, of course.
Pretty quickly it became clear what had happened, says Pher Andersson.
It spreads quickly in a small village, and it's clear that it's scary when it happens in little Harmånger, he says and continues:
It's damned tragic that someone has to take their life. It's terrible.
No one else was injured in connection with the incident and a man in his 25s has been arrested, suspected of murder.
