After a shared victory with Sara Junevik in the 50-meter butterfly on Thursday, Hansson won the 100-meter event in 57.50 - 1.28 seconds faster than her personal best.
Hansson, who won European Championship gold and World Championship bronze in the event, won outright and was 0.62 seconds ahead of runner-up Helena Rosendahl Bach of Denmark. Sara Junevik was sixth with 59.25.
On Saturday, the highlight of the competition will be at Eriksdalsbadet in Stockholm when Sarah Sjöström makes a comeback after becoming a mother and competes in the Olympic gold event, the 50-meter freestyle. Sjöström has not swum competitively since August 2024.
