In early July, Poromaa broke his ankle in a fall during a roller-skiing session in Sundsvall.

Since then, Poromaa has been working to get back, and now says he is 100 percent ready.

"It hasn't gone as planned. We've had to change the plan, but I also see that as motivation. I've had to do a lot of upper-body and ski-pole training, as well as some gym work," says the 25-year-old, just over a month before the competition season starts.

Did you have time to worry about the Falun World Championships?

Yes, that was the case. How long would this take? But then I switch on my problem-solving brain and try to work out a way forward. Things are good now; I can run and roller-ski. It's like normal.
