Toronto's Swedish star forward William Nylander left last night's NHL game against Vegas with an injury. "We'll see how long it lasts," said coach Craig Berube.

Nylander, who is selected for the Olympic team, left the ice with a suspected lower-body injury. It is still unclear how serious the injury is.

According to the AP, coach Craig Berube says Nylander has aggravated the injury that recently kept him out of action for six games.

"He was back and playing so well and now he's gone again. We'll see how long it lasts," says Berube.

Before Nylander left, he had an assist and a goal. During the goal celebration, it appeared Nylander stepped sideways, reports Aftonbladet. He immediately left the ice and later received word that he was done playing for the evening.

The match was his fourth after the six-game injury layoff.

Tre Kronor already had a long injury list ahead of the Olympic tournament in Milan, which starts on February 11. Among the NHL stars who are not playing right now are Leo Carlsson (Anaheim), Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay), and Erik Karlsson (Pittsburgh).

The game, which went into overtime, ended 6-5 in favor of Vegas.
