William Eklund will be out for a long time after the horrific injury when he got an opponent's skate over his wrist.

It's been a week now, the guidelines are three months and then you take it from there, says Eklund to Viaplay.

The 22-year-old San Jose forward was interviewed on site at Avicii arena in Stockholm, where Tre Kronor met Finland on Monday evening. He injured himself in one of the last warm-up matches against the Czech Republic before the VM, but dreams of getting to wear the national team jersey again in less than a year.

It's obvious that you have a thought about the Olympic Games, says Eklund.
