More than 100 different forest fires are currently raging in the province of Ontario in Canada, and the smoke is spreading into the United States.

The final is being played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, just outside Manhattan in New York, and the state has issued a warning about unhealthy air quality and is urging people to avoid going outdoors.

In addition to the fires, it is also expected to be very hot on the final day. A red warning is in effect for a heat wave, with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees.

However, how this will affect the World Cup final is still unclear.

The final between Argentina and Spain starts at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
