Since Sarina Wiegman is Dutch, she cannot be titled "dame", instead she will be awarded the honorary award "honorary damehood", the newspaper writes.

Wiegman was relevant for the award already two years ago when England reached the World Championship final – and is said to have good chances of being awarded it even in the event of a loss on Sunday.

Sarina Wiegman started her career as a coach for the Dutch Teer Leede in 2006 and took over the Dutch national team in 2017 is not mentioned but 2015 is mentioned so 2015 is used and was hired as the national team manager for the English national team in 2021.

In 2021, she was recruited as the national team manager for the English national team. A nation that she has led to three consecutive championship finals and a European Championship gold in 2022.
