The children themselves will do the work and collect one million friend points.
That you don't belong or that you might feel different - those tendencies are out there and that's why we're starting this friends club, where everyone can join regardless of how they are or how they function, says Malin Olsson, who is the veteran among the program hosts.
If you see a child with a yellow band around their wrist, they may be a member of the club.
"You might be visiting Öland and walking on the beach and see someone with a yellow bracelet. Then you automatically know that you have a friend there, because it's the same club," says Ken Gerhardsson, who is doing his second summer in the program.
Grasshoppers again
He's the one who will deliver if the viewership reaches one million. He's secretive about what he promises to do if the goal is reached, but reveals that several grasshoppers are involved.
Last summer's goal was celebrated by Malin eating a grasshopper. It was cooked, but it was tough.
It was crispy!
New to the group this summer is Lizette Edfeldt. She admits she's a little nervous, and she's been preparing by watching old shows, among other things. Now she wants to have fun.
I think it should feel like a big hug to check out of summer vacation and come here.
“I’m really scared”
Ellen Särnevång is in her third summer as a presenter and Haider El Timimi is in his second. Ellen is warmed up after a tour with SVT Barn. Haider, on the other hand, comes straight from a radio job and he has missed the direct feedback from the audience that he gets in "Summer Vacation".
Here with the children you can say anything and they applaud. No, maybe not anything, says Haider El Timimi.
"Can you say anything? I'm really scared that they won't laugh at my jokes," says Lizette Edfeldt.
