The World Health Organization said in a statement that it still assesses hantavirus to pose a "low risk" to public health.
"The public health risk has been reassessed based on the latest available information, and the global risk remains low," the statement said.
The outbreak of the virus occurred on board the cruise ship Hondius. Three cruise passengers have died from the virus. Former passengers are being kept in isolation at several locations around the world.
