The World Health Organization said in a statement that it still assesses hantavirus poses a "low risk" to public health.
"The public health risk has been reassessed based on the latest available information, and the global risk remains low," the statement said.
Three passengers on the Hondius cruise ship have died from the virus. Former passengers are being isolated in several locations around the world.
