The tobacco company British American Tobacco Sweden is recalling the snus product Granit Original White Portion Large, writes the National Food Agency. This concerns snus manufactured between May 30 and November 10 this year.
The reason is that a batch contains benzo[a]pyrene in levels that exceed the permitted limit value. Benzo[a]pyrene is a hydrocarbon that can be carcinogenic.
Consumers are advised to dispose of the product and contact the tobacco company for a replacement product or refund, writes British American Tobacco Sweden.
