The White House announces that the USA will begin to ease sanctions on agricultural products from Russia and facilitate Russian exports in the sector.
"The USA will help to restore Russia's access to the global market for the export of agricultural and fertilizer products, reduce maritime insurance costs and improve access to ports and payment systems for such transactions", it says in a statement from the White House after negotiations in Saudi Arabia.
