The average so-called bid premium was 1.1 percent in March, compared with 0.6 percent in March last year, according to Hemnet statistics. Bid premium refers to how much the price has changed from the starting price to the final price.
The biggest increase was in Stockholm, 4.8 percent. It is also the highest level since 2022, Hemnet notes. However, there are only three other counties where a positive bid premium is recorded in the tenant-owned property market - Uppsala, Västerbotten and Norrbotten.
In Blekinge and Värmland, for example, a decline of between 4 and 5 percent is noticeable.
For single-family homes, the average bid premium fell by 1.1 percent.
