As Finnair prepares for a potential disruption following its May 26 strike notice, travelers have been facing significant challenges in reaching customer service for updates. Here's a firsthand account of the experience and the latest information available to those navigating the situation.

Since Finnair’s May 26 strike notice, passengers have faced long holds trying to reach customer service. After waiting 75 minutes without success in the morning, the Sweden Herald correspondent kept calling and finally spoke to an agent at 14:15 local time.

The agent confirmed no flights have been officially cancelled yet, so involuntary-change waivers aren’t in effect - but they will be applied if a flight is cancelled or within one day before or after the departure date. The correspondent hopes this update helps other affected travelers.
