He is now in the role of "head of coaching".
The 57-year-old's tasks in the federation's new role will be to "support, guide and develop national team captains," SvFF says on its website.
"My ambition is to attend a gathering for each youth national team during the year. I want to contribute and help - not find fault, but be supportive," he says.

From 2016 to 2023, Wettergren was assistant to Janne Andersson in the men's national team and then took on the role of technical director before leaving for MFF.
