A woman in her 40s and a five-year-old boy have been taken to hospital by helicopter after falling through the ice in Fittjaviken in Huddinge, south of Stockholm.
"Both are awake and able to talk and have stated that they fell through the ice, which is considered an accident without suspicion of crime. For more information about their injuries, please refer to the healthcare services", the police write on their website.
The police were alerted at 16.19 on Thursday. A man who was also in the water did not require medical attention.
The rescue service's divers have searched the water without finding anyone else and have completed their operation.
