Wedding ring disappeared from police station – employee charged

It feels really sad. It's so valuable in many different ways, the ring's owner tells SVT Nyheter Skåne .

The ring disappeared during a shift at the hospital, but was later found in Region Skåne's laundry. From there, it was passed on to the police – and disappeared.

The person being charged denies and claims that the ring was left behind, but according to the prosecutor, the person who allegedly picked up the ring does not exist.
