A woman who was stopped at the Öresund Bridge in September last year had two weapons in a picnic basket in the front seat. The car was also found to contain additional weapons, ammunition, and 16 hand grenades from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
She is now being sentenced along with a man who organized the transport for extremely serious weapons smuggling and extremely serious smuggling of explosive goods. The woman is sentenced to eight years in prison, the man to ten years. Both are also sentenced to deportation.
