Retail trade in the eurozone increased by 0.1 per cent in November compared to the previous month, according to the statistics agency Eurostat.
This was slightly less than expected. Analysts had on average expected an increase of 0.3 per cent, according to a compilation of forecasts made by Bloomberg.
Compared to November last year, retail trade in the eurozone increased by 1.2 per cent. Here, analysts had expected an increase of 1.7 per cent.
