The sisters Grene are recalling watercolor paint since an elevated amount of lead has been found in the white color. The amount exceeds the established limit values and poses a health risk if it comes into contact with the skin or is ingested, the company writes on its website.
The recall applies to a package with twelve colors with batch number 230866. The product was sold between May 29, 2024, and February 13, 2025.
Everyone who has purchased the paint can return it and get their money back or exchange it for a product of the same value until May 1, 2025.
You do not need to show a receipt, and the product can be returned even if it has been opened and the batch number is no longer visible.
