The problem occurred just after 10 PM on Tuesday.
Sundbyberg Waste and Water wrote on their website that the problem occurred after a water leak at the municipal company Norrvatten.
In the neighboring municipality of Solna, which also uses Norrvatten, many households were affected.
At 11:30 PM, Norrvatten confirmed that the water supply was back in the affected areas. A repair of the damaged pipe will begin on Wednesday.
