A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Borås.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight when the man was attacked by two unknown individuals. The police tell Göteborgs-Posten that the man was outdoors to throw away trash.
There is a man who claims that he went out to throw away the trash, and that he was then attacked by one or two perpetrators, says Göran Carlbom, duty officer at Police Region West, to the newspaper.
The extent of the injuries is described by the police as serious but stable. The incident is classified as attempted murder. No suspect has been arrested at present.
