Davis made the same role in the previous Harry Potter films, but now it's time again.
It was 2023 that it became known that the immensely popular book and film series about JK Rowling's wizard apprentice Harry Potter will become a TV series.
The series premieres in 2027, and it is previously known that the lead role as Harry Potter is played by the Scottish eleven-year-old Dominic McLaughlin. Potter's friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley are portrayed in turn by Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout.
It is also known, among other things, that John Lithgow will play Albus Dumbledore and that Paapa Esseiedu plays Severus Snape.
The idea is that the new series will be broadcast in seven seasons, one for each of Rowling's books about Potter.
