Warning for wind and snow in the mountains

Difficult weather is expected during the afternoon and evening, with increasing northwest winds and occasional showers of snow or sleet.

Cancel your mountain trip if you are not really used to the mountains, SMHI advises, as it can be difficult to orient yourself when visibility deteriorates. There is also a risk of frostbite and it can be difficult to set up and anchor a tent.

A yellow weather warning means consequences for society and certain risks for the public.
