There may be a birch pollen surge in large parts of northwestern Svealand, in southern inland Norrland and along the Norrland coast in the coming days, according to the Swedish Museum of Natural History, which measures pollen levels.
The risk of high birch pollen levels is either very high or elevated across the area.
At the same time, birch blossoms are declining in southern Sweden.
Meanwhile, the risk of high oak pollen levels is increasing in Skåne and Blekinge. In the rest of Götaland and in southern Svealand, the risk of oak pollen is elevated.
