The entertainment company Warner Bros Discovery is planned to be split into two publicly traded companies next year. The announcement means that one of the operations will include, among other things, the film business as well as the streaming services HBO and HBO Max. The other part will in turn include, among other things, global TV operations such as CNN and Discovery.
Warner Bros Discovery is not alone in doing this. Even Comcast has chosen a similar solution where the operation has been separated into two different companies.
