The unstable weather is on its way out – and summer warmth is on its way in. From Monday, the weather will change.

However, during Saturday and Sunday, the more uncertain weather will continue.

Today, we have a rain area passing over Götaland and Svealand for most of the day and into the night, says SMHI's meteorologist Annabelle Engert.

The temperature will settle at 15-20 degrees, slightly lower in the rain areas. In Norrland, there will be a lot of sunshine mixed with clouds, with temperatures around 20 degrees.

On Sunday, the rain area will move away from Götaland and Svealand. Instead, there will be sunshine and around 20 degrees. In Norrland, a rain area will pass through on Sunday with temperatures around 13-18 degrees, slightly lower in the mountains.

After that, the weather will change.

From Monday, it will be stable and fine, says Engert.

Then, a high-pressure system will come in from the southwest and stabilise the weather in large parts of Sweden. In principle, almost all of Sweden, except for the northernmost parts of Norrland, will get a lot of sunshine.

It will bring warm air with it, so we will settle at around 25 degrees in many places in Götaland and Svealand, says Engert.

The warm weather will persist – at least for a few days ahead.

At some point towards the end of the week, the high pressure will break down, says Engert.
