Almost five times as expensive as last time, World Cup tickets. Now the European supporters group FSE wants FIFA to stop ticket sales due to unreasonable prices.

Football Supporters Europe (FSE) says that the prices of tickets for national team supporters' groups, which are distributed through national football associations, are astronomical.

According to the FSE, a supporter who wants to follow their team from the first match to the final, seven matches, will have to pay at least $6,900 (equivalent to just over 64,000 SEK). This is almost five times as much as at the last World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

"We want FIFA (International Football Association Board) to stop ticket sales, consult with all stakeholders and review ticket prices and category allocation until a solution that respects the tradition, universality and cultural significance of the World Cup is found."

The World Cup will be played in the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer.
