The murder victim, an 18-year-old man, was fatally shot on a bus at around 3pm on Wednesday last week. The bus was carrying around 20 people and was at a bus stop next to a school when the murder took place.
The detention hearing for the 20-year-old suspect - who was arrested and detained by prosecutor Sara Malmhester on Monday - will be held in Nacka District Court on Tuesday.
The police have conducted a large number of interviews and have also secured video material, among other things, from the bus.
The bus murder in Tyresö was one of five shootings that occurred within a few days. Four young men were killed in these shootings: three teenagers and a 20-year-old.
