Six wins in regular time in six games and 202 saves out of 209 possible were Minnesota goalie Jesper Wallstedt's results during the month of November.
It didn't go unnoticed by the league and ahead of tonight's game against Edmonton, he was named Rookie of the Month. The last Swedish player to receive the award was Lucas Raymond, in November 2021.
Wallstedt is competing for the starting spot with fellow Swede Filip Gustavsson, who plays every other game. November was a successful month for Minnesota, winning eleven of 14 games.
December began with another victory with Wallstedt in goal. Jonas Brodin scored the only goal of the game as Minnesota defeated Edmonton away.
