Wallenberg's Laborie in multi-billion dollar deal

Patricia Industries subsidiary Laborie has agreed to purchase Jada System – a vacuum device for controlling and treating uterine bleeding after childbirth.

The price tag could end up at $465 million (approximately SEK 4.5 billion) if certain goals are achieved, Investor writes in a press release.

Patricia Industries is part of the Wallenberg sphere powerhouse Investor. The subsidiary Laborie supplies medical technology products for diagnostics and treatment in urology, gastroenterology and obstetrics.

The seller of the Jada System, which is used in more than 20 countries, is the American company Organon.
