The Wallenberg family's unlisted power company FAM is planning for Swedish ammunition production and is conducting a feasibility study in a new limited company, called Verkan, which has been started for the purpose, reports Dagens Industri.

"We are looking into the possibility of building ammunition production for the Swedish defence and Sweden's allies", writes FAM's CEO Håkan Buskhe, formerly CEO of the defence group Saab, in an SMS to the newspaper, and adds that the production, if it happens, will take place in Sweden.

He does not want to provide any financial details or go into where a potential factory will be located.
