The Wallenberg sphere is reshuffling the top of the family's financial power structure. Wallenberg Investments (WIAB), the governing body for the family's foundations, is taking over the subsidiary FAM, the company said in a press release.

FAM CEO Håkan Buskhe will become vice president of WIAB, where Dick Lundqvist will remain in his position.

Lundqvist will be responsible for implementing the structural change, while Håkan Buskhe will develop the holdings, according to the announcement.

"As assets grow and the portfolio becomes more complex, it is a natural next step to consolidate Wallenberg Investments and FAM into a common platform. This strengthens our decision-making ability, our risk and capital allocation, and our ability to attract and develop the skills required to build value across generations," says Marcus Wallenberg, Chairman of WIAB, in a comment.
