Walter Wallberg secured a second place in the VC premiere last weekend and followed it up with a third place on home turf.
Despite the strap on Wallberg's left pole breaking in the middle of the run in the super final.
Wallberg, who ended last season prematurely due to a knee injury, held together the run despite the problems and was rewarded with a fine 85.63 points. It was enough by the smallest possible margin to beat French fourth-place finisher Benjamin Cavet, on 85.62 points.
Canadian superstar Mikaël Kingsbury has started the season brilliantly and now took his second consecutive victory with 87.92 points. Second was Ikuma Horishima, Japan, on 85.89.
Rasmus Stegfeldt also reached the super final, but finished sixth and last there.
In the women's competition, the Swedish athletes did not achieve any successes. Jakara Anthony, Australia, won.
