Wall Street Hits New Record Levels After Fed's Interest Rate Cut

Wall Street ended the trading week with new record levels, after this week's message from the US central bank about the year's first interest rate cut.

Broad S&P 500 ended Friday's trading at plus 0.5 percent and Dow Jones industrial index increased 0.4 percent, which places the indexes at new record levels. Technically heavy Nasdaq's composite index increased 0.7 percent.

Apple launched its latest Iphone and acted as a locomotive on the stock exchange, the stock climbed 3.2 percent. Also Tesla went strong, up 2.2 percent.

Investors have during the week corrected their mood after the central bank Fed's expected message on Wednesday about the year's first interest rate hike. Seen over the week as a whole, S&P 500 climbed 1.2 percent, Dow Jones 1.0 percent and Nasdaq's composite index 2.2 percent.
