At the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had risen 1 percent, while the broad S&P 500 index and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index both rose 0.4 percent.
The week has otherwise been marked by major concerns about the valuations of AI giants, the national debt, the policy rate and the US conflict with Iran.
The government's attempt to ease pressure on government bonds through buybacks was not a success, and interest rates continued to rise on Friday.
All of this is reflected in stock prices. Despite Friday's gains, the Dow has fallen 0.8 percent for the week, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq have fallen 1.4 and 2 percent, respectively.
But the sun continues to shine for Moderna, with a gain of 8.8 percent on Friday. This means the share has risen a whopping 129 percent during the week.
