During the premiere of this year's "Sing-along at Skansen", Pernilla Wahlgren sang in a joking tone that "it can only get worse this year", after last year's debut. Now there's only one episode left and she feels comfortable in her clothes.
The experience has been very joyful and easy, I haven't been nervous or stressed. It feels like I've found my way of leading the program. Since there are always those who complain about the program and content, but overall it feels like people think it's fun, she says.
International artist guest stars
On Tuesday, the Sollidenscenen stage at Skansen will be visited by, among others, Miriam Bryant, Isak Danielson, and Orup. Additionally, Henrik Dorsin, Vanna Rosenberg, and Johan Ulveson will perform parts from their upcoming revue.
Also ready for the program is the American country artist Dasha, who had a viral hit this year with "Austin (Boots stop workin')".
It's going to be super exciting to meet her, to be honest I didn't know about her before. When you play her song, you're like "wow, it's her!", says Pernilla Wahlgren.
Lower viewer ratings
According to TT's "TV Top", the number of viewers of the linear broadcast has decreased this year – only two episodes have reached over one million viewers, compared to last year when all episodes reached the million mark.
The numbers speak for themselves, and it's clear that you wish for higher viewer ratings, the best viewing, but it all depends on what you compare with. I'm used to Kanal 5 where one million viewers is: "wow!". It's still a lot, then if SVT gets disappointed... I think more about doing as good a job as possible, says Pernilla Wahlgren.
TT: Would you like to continue leading "Sing-along at Skansen" next year as well?
I think it's a fun job that gives me a lot of joy, so yes, I could imagine that.
