Last truck manufacturer AB Volvo plans to lay off 500-800 employees at three of its facilities in the USA, writes Reuters on its website.
The layoffs at the facilities in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland may occur within the next three months, according to a statement from the company.
The planned reduction in workforce is due to an uncertain market and concerns about a declining demand due to the USA's new tariffs against the rest of the world.
