Volvo Group to launch new mining equipment unit by year-end

"Volvo Mining will bring together the group's capabilities, expertise and offerings for mining customers in a single, integrated business unit. Volvo Mining will sell Volvo trucks, construction equipment and autonomous solutions to mining customers and their contractors," AB Volvo writes in a press release.

The unit - which will initially focus on mining customers and contractors in Sweden, Norway and Finland - will become part of the Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) business area.
