Volvo Cars sells stake in Lynk for 8 billion

Volvo Cars is selling its 30-percent stake in car manufacturer Lynk. The buyer is Chinese Zeekr. The purchase price amounts to approximately 8 billion kronor, according to a press release.

Volvo Cars has been a part-owner of Lynk since the company was founded in 2017.

"Volvo Cars will continue to focus on operational collaborations with Lynk & Co on selected markets where there is a strategic benefit for both companies", according to the press release.
