The national volleyball team has received a tough setback.

Setter Vilma Julevik is cruciate ligament injured and will miss both the World Championship and the final four in Golden League.

It's really annoying considering everything we have to look forward to this year, she says to Radiosporten.

Sweden will play the final four in the European Golden League in Ängelholm on June 28-29 and then the World Championship in Thailand at the end of August and beginning of September.

This is the first time Sweden's women have qualified for the World Championship.

Now an operation is waiting in a while, hopefully, so I'll be away from volleyball for a good while, says Julevik.

She counts on the World Championship being over for her part.

Yes, as it is right now, at least, she says.
