A VMA, important message to the public, has been issued in Hässleholm after a fire broke out in a waste facility reports P4 Kristianstad.
There is heavy smoke development on the site and the rescue leader urges residents in Vankiva, Finja and the northern parts of Hässleholm to go indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation.
The rescue service has several units on site to combat the fire, and at 3 pm the prognosis was that the extinguishing work would continue for most of the evening.
A VMA has also been issued in Hörby after a suspected dangerous object was found outdoors.
