The skeleton racer has published a video on X of himself standing in a blacked-out Kyiv. In the post, he criticizes the International Olympic Committee.
"Every week, more and more Russian athletes return to international arenas, while Ukrainians continue to live in a humanitarian disaster caused by Russian attacks. When the IOC plays along with Russian propaganda, the organization effectively becomes complicit in these crimes," he writes.
Heraskevych was banned from the Olympics because he insisted on competing in a helmet with images of Ukrainian war victims.
