The statement comes as Visionpower inaugurates its first chip factory in Singapore, which began construction in 2024 with a budget of $7.8 billion (approximately SEK 77.5 billion).
"It's too early to talk about a budget as we haven't decided on the technology to be used. That has a big impact on the size of the investment," Leuh Fang says of what a second factory would cost.
Behind Visionpower are Taiwanese TSMC's Vanguard International Semiconductor (VSMC) and Dutch NXP Semiconductors.
