A fire has destroyed a villa in Lilla Edet in Västergötland.
We have a fully developed villa fire, it is fully ablaze, says Maria Berntsson, alarm and leadership operator at the Rescue Service Storgöteborg, to TT.
Initially, information came from the ambulance service that an injured person had been taken to hospital, which Göteborgs-Posten reported. But later, the police announced that the person had been taken to alternative accommodation and did not need care.
The alarm about the fire came at 12:04 on Sunday. At 13:30, the rescue service announced that there is no risk of spread and that the house will be allowed to burn down under controlled forms.
